Tribe Vanua

Tribe Vanua is one of the three original competing tribes of Extinction Island Season 1, named after Vanua Levu — the second-largest island in the Fijian archipelago. The tribe began the season with six members and showed early dominance, winning the first reward challenge in Episode 1 and the immunity challenge in Episode 2. However, they subsequently lost three consecutive immunity challenges, sending Raymond Okafor and Sienna Walsh to Extinction Island.

After a brief resurgence in Episodes 5–8, Vanua lost again in Episode 9, voting out Marcus Delgado. In Episode 10, following a tribe swap, Vanua absorbed Kadavu's two remaining members — Nadine Kowalski and Tammy Ostrowski — forming a new five-person Vanua tribe. The new tribe immediately lost immunity and voted out Denise Fuentes at their first joint Tribal Council.

As of Episode 10, Vanua consists of four members: Priya Nair, Colton Briggs, Nadine Kowalski, and Tammy Ostrowski.

Notable Developments

The Showmance

Colton Briggs and Priya Nair confirmed as the season's first showmance on Day 5 of Episode 3. The pair have since formed the strategic core of the Vanua tribe, surviving multiple Tribal Councils and orchestrating the votes against Raymond, Marcus, and Denise.
