"All Together Now" is the thirteenth episode of Season 1, airing December 14, 2000. It is the first of a two-part merge event. All remaining castaways — Priya Nair, Colton Briggs, Jonah Prescott, Celeste Monroe, Audra Sinclair, Kwame Asante, and Petra Vance — have their tribes dissolved and merge into a single group for individual play. No elimination takes place. The episode ends on a cliffhanger as alliances begin to fracture within hours of the merge feast.

✓   No elimination this episode — no Tribal Council was held.
Merge: Tribes Mamanuca and Yasawa are dissolved. All 7 remaining castaways merge into a single tribe for individual play. New tribe name and buffs to be revealed in Episode 14.

Story

On Day 26, all seven remaining castaways are summoned to a beachside feast — the traditional merge celebration. The host formally announces the dissolution of Tribes Mamanuca and Yasawa. New buffs are handed out but the merged tribe name is withheld until Episode 14, building anticipation for the next installment.

The feast itself is cordial on the surface, but strategic tension runs beneath every conversation. Priya and Colton, arriving as a two-person minority, immediately begin working the room — Colton makes overtures to Kwame while Priya gravitates toward Celeste, sensing a potential ally in the experienced older woman.

Jonah and Petra — the Importantés — quietly take stock of the new landscape. With five former Yasawa members and only two from Mamanuca, the numbers favor their side. But Jonah warns Petra that Kwame's hidden Steal-a-Vote could complicate any vote if played at the wrong moment. Petra's response, shown in confessional, hints at a willingness to move against Kwame before he can act.

The episode closes without a challenge or vote — the camera lingering on the dying merge feast fire as players drift off to separate corners of the beach, mapping out their next moves in silence.

Trivia

  • This is the second episode of the season with no elimination, after Episode 7 "Open Sesame."
  • The merge occurs on Day 26 with 7 castaways remaining — the fewest players at a merge point in Season 1.
  • The merged tribe's name is intentionally withheld until Episode 14, a rare production choice for the series.
  • Priya and Colton are the only two former Mamanuca members remaining, giving Yasawa a 5–2 numerical advantage at the merge.
  • Kwame Asante's Steal-a-Vote remains the only unplayed advantage in the game, now in its sixth episode of existence.
  • The closing shot of the episode — seven castaways scattered silently across a dark beach — is described by producers as one of the most deliberately atmospheric endings in the season.
