"Bombed (Part 2)" is the eighteenth episode of Season 1, airing January 25, 2001, concluding the triple elimination event. Kwame Asante wins individual immunity, and two back-to-back Tribal Councils are held — Petra Vance is eliminated first, followed by Celeste Monroe. Both are permanently eliminated. Heading into Episode 19, only three castaways remain: Trevor Holt, Colton Briggs, and Kwame Asante.
Story
The episode picks up immediately where Episode 17 left off — Priya's torch has just been snuffed and the four remaining players return to camp in silence. Colton, gutted, sits alone on the beach through the night. By morning he has reoriented: with Priya gone, his only path to the Final 3 runs through Trevor and Kwame, and he quietly begins testing that alignment.
Kwame wins immunity and for the first time openly considers playing his Steal-a-Vote. He ultimately decides against it — the numbers are in his favor and burning the advantage feels unnecessary. His decision to hold it again draws a confessional reaction from Petra: "That thing is going to expire in his pocket."
At the first Tribal Council of the episode, the vote is 3–1. Colton, Trevor, and Kwame vote for Petra — the most dangerous strategic player remaining after the showmance collapsed. Petra's sole vote goes to Colton, a final act of defiance against the man she helped before ultimately being outmaneuvered by. At the second Tribal Council, Celeste — isolated and without allies — is eliminated unanimously, 3–0. The Final 3 is set.

Trivia
- Kwame Asante's Steal-a-Vote goes unplayed for the twelfth and final episode before the finale — the advantage was never used across its entire lifespan in the game.
- Petra Vance's final vote against Colton mirrors the strategic arc of the post-merge game — she helped him survive long enough to ultimately eliminate her.
- Celeste Monroe is eliminated unanimously 3–0, the cleanest vote of the triple elimination event.
- The Final 3 of Trevor Holt, Colton Briggs, and Kwame Asante represents all three former pre-merge tribes — Kadavu (Trevor), Vanua (Colton), and Yasawa (Kwame).
- With Petra gone, the Importantés alliance — formed in Episode 5 — is fully dissolved after fourteen episodes.
- This episode marks the end of permanent eliminations in the main game; the Final 3 will face the jury in Episode 22.
