"You've Come So Far (Part 3)" is the twenty-first episode of Season 1, airing February 15, 2001. The Final Battle challenge determines who holds the power to eliminate the last castaway. Colton Briggs wins his fifth consecutive individual immunity, edging out Trevor Holt in second place. Colton uses his power to vote out Kwame Asante, sending him to permanent elimination. The Final 2 — Colton Briggs and Trevor Holt — will face the jury in Episode 22.
Story
The Final Battle challenge is the most anticipated of the season — the winner casts the sole vote to eliminate the last standing opponent, choosing who they bring to the jury. Colton wins, his fifth consecutive immunity, and faces the most important decision of his game: Trevor or Kwame.
In a lengthy deliberation shown in full, Colton weighs both options. Trevor is a comeback story with genuine likeability — dangerous in front of a jury that values resilience. Kwame is cerebral, respected, and the architect of multiple post-merge votes. Colton chooses to eliminate Kwame, reasoning that Trevor's narrative, while compelling, is harder to argue against than Kwame's strategic record.
At Tribal Council, Colton casts his vote alone. Kwame takes it graciously — acknowledging Colton's game with a nod before his torch is snuffed. His final words: "I held that advantage for twelve episodes and never played it. Make of that what you will."
